Surrounded by clouds and mist, in this quiet mountain forest, the morning mist is gradually dissipating, and the mountain peaks and clouds are intertwined, just like a grand landscape painting. Paul Gauguin – Two Tahitian... 菠蘿選画所
Two Tahitian women—
one holding a bowl of fruit, the other offering a handful of flowers.

They speak no words, yet their stillness tells a quiet story—
of nature, femininity, and something deeply spiritual.

Gauguin paints their skin in ochre and olive green—not realistic, but dreamlike,
a vision of the “pure land” he longed for.
The red fruit and pink blossoms glow as the only bright accents, vibrant like life itself.

This is more than a portrait—
it's a longing for something untouched, a world of silence, beauty, and belonging.
AVAR4646

Paul Klee_LocksmithI 菠蘿選画所
This painting was created by Paul Klee in 1940, during the final year of his life. It is one of his most powerful and symbolic works.

At the center, two black dots connected by a horizontal line resemble an abstract “lock cylinder” or “tool key.”
The entire figure appears like a humanoid machine, arms raised, as if operating or creating something.

In the final year of his life, Klee painted this “locksmith”—
as if he were painting himself: a craftsman who unlocks the world through creation.
AVAR4633
