水泥牆的開裂也是常被提起的問題，開裂的主要原因有：
1. 水泥和砂漿的配比沒有配好。
2. 砌牆時含水量過大，收縮乾裂。
3. 牆體、地基本身條件不好。
4. 師傅的手藝對最後的效果也有很大影響。
可見，前期工作準備得越充足，之後開裂的可能性也越小。
另外需注意，如果水泥牆用在廚衛空間，要做好防水工作。
